rainy night

Rainy Night, that brings me great joy

Water pouring out of the heavens onto this lonely earth

The water flowing around my bare feet

Slowing losing all cares in the world

The sound of my girl laughing

Running around the crowds of people

Splashing around the soggy ground

We finally slow down

The water stops

We sit back against the wall and relax to wait for the next

We are completely soaked

Holding each other tight to try to stay warm

we  walk off into the darkness

splashing along the way

the rain is done for now,

But i will never forget this rainy night
