Today is jaylene’s birthday!

 

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY LOVE!

 

This year has been pretty crazy for us as a couple, hehe. we started dating this year back on october 12th, it seems like so long ago. so much has happened since then, well i guess a lot did actually happen since that cold night.

IN honor of Jaylenes birthday i decided to look up some events that have happened through out history on the great day.

First off in 1981 Matt Hoopes of Relient K was born

In 2005 YouTube was launched in the United States

IN 1965 A new red-and-white maple leaf design is adopted as the flag of Canada, replacing the old Canadian Red Ensign banner.

A few random facts as well.

In 1959  Brian Propp, a Canadian hockey player was born.

IN 1942 During  World War II Singapore falls to Japanese forces.

In 1946  Esko Seppänen a Finnish politician was born into the world.

Sleeping at Last

So Jaylene and discovered this band from Wheaton, Illinois; Sleeping At Last.  They are a very smooth flowing band to listen to and are a great soundtrack for doing many different things.

The way they write songs is almost like poetry

Example:

We have both fallen in love with this band and wait in eager anticipation each onth for there new EP to come out.

This whole year each month they are recording and releasing three songs, they call it the Yearbook project and each Ep is named after the month it is released in. so far they have gotten up to February and they started in october.

If you havent heard this band before i suggest you go look them up, sometimes you can find free downloads on Noisetrade.com of there music, or you can go to there website and read about them.

I guess if i had to choose a top 5 song, witch is really hard because they are all so amazing, it might look like this though.
